Red Tiger is back in Asgard with Thor's Rage 2, a sequel that trades the fairly basic setup of the original for a much deeper mechanical package. Where the first Thor's Rage leaned heavily on the tumbling-reels, scatter-pays formula made famous by Gates of Olympus, this follow-up builds its own identity with multiple bonus paths, upgraded wild types, and a long list of feature buys.

New Look, New Heights

The setting has shifted from the icy, ground-based world of the original to a floating peak wrapped in clouds and golden, godly architecture. Thor has had a visual overhaul too — no more crown, a sleeker and more modern outfit, and noticeably bigger muscles — giving the game a look that leans even further into Gates of Olympus territory than its predecessor did.

Base Game: How It Plays

The game runs on a 6x5 board, and a win forms whenever 8 or more matching symbols land anywhere on the grid — no traditional paylines to track. Winning symbols clear from the board and new ones tumble in to take their place, with the chain continuing as long as fresh wins keep forming.

This is a high-volatility title, with stakes running from $/€0.10 to $/€500 and four selectable RTP settings, topping out at 96.05%. The paytable's five premium symbols include a ring, a gauntlet, a helmet, and Thor's hammer, Mjolnir. Thor's Rage 2 does enough to step out from its predecessor's shadow — and from the Gates of Olympus formula it's still clearly drawing on. The Storm-vs-Thunder choice gives it real staying power: Storm delivers the classic stacking-multiplier feel genre fans already love, while Thunder turns each round into a sprint toward that x500 (or x1,000) ceiling, backed by a steeper feature-buy cost that hints at bigger long-term potential. With a 20,000x max win and considerably more depth than the original, it's a strong pick for anyone who liked Gates-style slots but wanted more choice and higher ceilings.
