From Barcelona in January to Lisbon and Las Vegas in September, next year's event calendar is now largely confirmed. For affiliate managers, it doubles as a map of where 2027's partnerships will be made.
The 2027 iGaming conference calendar is falling into place. ICE Barcelona and iGB Affiliate will open the year in January, SBC Summit returns to Lisbon in September, and SiGMA is taking its summit series across five continents. With most organisers having locked in their dates, affiliate managers are already deciding where next year's travel budgets will go.
For anyone running an affiliate programme, these events are more than entries in a diary. Partnerships in this industry still run on trust, and trust is built faster over a coffee on the show floor than across a dozen emails. The conference circuit is where new affiliates are recruited, existing deals are renegotiated and the next market is scouted, often in the same afternoon.
Here is how the year ahead looks, and where affiliate managers are most likely to find the partners they want.
Before the calendar turns
After the autumn shows in Lisbon and Las Vegas, the 2026 season still has a few stops left. SiGMA World fills Fiera Roma in Rome from 2 to 5 November, with more than 30,000 delegates expected, and SiGMA South Asia follows in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 30 November to 2 December. Affiliate World Asia then closes the year in Bangkok on 9–10 December. Affiliate World covers performance marketing as a whole rather than gaming alone, which makes it a useful stop for managers who work with media buyers and paid traffic.
January: Barcelona sets the tone
For the third year running, the industry's year begins in Barcelona. ICE Barcelona takes place at Fira Barcelona Gran Via from 18 to 20 January as the centrepiece of World Gaming Week (17–21 January), while iGB Affiliate Barcelona runs on 19–20 January in Halls 8.0 and 8.1 of the same venue.
For affiliate managers, iGB Affiliate is the headline act. It presents itself as the only event built entirely around the iGaming affiliate community, and the logic is simple: affiliates come looking for programmes worth backing, and programme owners come looking for partners who can deliver players. Passes are free for affiliates, which opens the doors to sites of every size. That is exactly the mix a manager wants when building a pipeline.
ICE itself remains the biggest trade show of the gaming year and deserves time of its own. Game studios, platform providers and payment firms all exhibit, and many of the operator teams that affiliate managers work alongside will be in the city all week. A new Hall 7, focused on technology, data and fintech, adds one more reason to stray beyond the affiliate floor.
February to April: growth markets take centre stage
The spring schedule leans towards emerging and newly regulated markets. SiGMA Africa gathers the industry in Cape Town from 15 to 17 February, followed by SBC Summit Rio at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro on 2–4 March. SiGMA Eurasia takes place in the United Arab Emirates on 15–17 March, and BiS SiGMA South America takes over São Paulo from 5 to 8 April.
For managers with Latin American ambitions, the two Brazilian events are the obvious place to start. Brazil's regulated market has been live since January 2025, and programmes that want to grow there need local partners who understand its rules.
April closes with SBC Summit Europe at RAI Amsterdam on 19–21 April. SBC is selling the date as a quiet window in an otherwise packed calendar, and the audience it is targeting will interest any programme owner: more than 8,000 attendees, including over 3,000 operator representatives and upwards of 1,800 affiliates and performance marketers. For managers focused on regulated European markets, that is a concentrated crowd in a city that is easy to reach from almost anywhere in Europe.
May to July: Malta, the Americas and a mid-year check-in
SiGMA Europe brings the circuit to Malta, home to many operators and affiliate programmes, at Ta' Qali from 3 to 5 May. SBC Summit Americas will again be held in Fort Lauderdale, though its dates have not yet been confirmed. In June, SiGMA Asia is scheduled for Manila, with exact dates to follow, while SBC Summit Canada takes place at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on 15–17 June.
The summer's biggest affiliate moment comes in London, where iGB L!VE returns on 7–8 July. The show puts operators, affiliates, suppliers and game providers under one roof, and its organisers pitch it as the industry's halfway checkpoint, when companies take stock of the first six months and get ready for the busy winter season. For affiliate managers, that timing is valuable. It is the natural moment to sit down with top partners, make sure deals still work for both sides and agree plans for the fourth quarter.
Affiliate World Europe is also on the radar. This year's edition ran in Budapest on 9–10 July, and 2027 dates have yet to be announced.
September: the busiest stretch of the year
September is where the calendar gets crowded. SBC Summit returns to the Feira Internacional de Lisboa and the MEO Arena on 21–23 September, moving back to its usual timing after the 2026 edition was pushed later to avoid clashing with major Jewish holidays. SBC Summit has grown into one of the largest gatherings in the industry, and its dedicated affiliate strand, which this year runs as the Affiliate Leaders Summit alongside the main show, makes Lisbon a key recruitment stop for affiliate teams.
Four days after Lisbon closes, G2E opens at The Venetian Expo in Las Vegas on 27–30 September. Its roots are in land-based casino gaming, but iGaming and sports betting now sit firmly on its agenda. SiGMA North America is also set for Mexico City in September, with dates to be confirmed, so managers covering both Europe and the Americas face some careful planning.
How affiliate managers make the trip count
Across all of these events, experienced affiliate managers tend to follow the same playbook. The most productive meetings are rarely spontaneous: they are booked weeks in advance through event apps, LinkedIn and existing contacts, leaving the show floor for follow-ups and chance introductions. Side events matter just as much as the main programme, since affiliate mixers, dinners and after-parties are often where a first conversation turns into a working relationship.
What managers look for has also sharpened. Raw traffic figures count for less than where that traffic comes from, which markets it serves and whether it turns into players who stay. Affiliates who arrive with clear numbers on their GEOs, audience and compliance standards are far easier to say yes to, and managers who follow up within days rather than weeks are usually the ones who sign the partners everyone else was chasing.
